In 2008 the Canary Island Palm Company was engaged and entrusted with the task of supplying and installing 2 mature Canary Island Date Palms with a clear trunk height of 4 metres into purpose built planter boxes for the newly built Mausoleum at the Williamstown Cemetery.

Since 2008 the Canary Island Palm Company has fully maintained the 102 mature Canary Island Date Palms located within the heritage listed Williamstown Cemetery for the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust.
